Israel continues its airstrikes on southern areas, while Hezbollah responds by launching rockets targeting Israeli sites and soldiers, in addition to conducting drone attacks.
Internally, Prime Minister Najib Mikati, after his visit to Maronite Patriarch Mar Bechara Boutros al-Rahi, declared that 'the murder of Pascal Suleiman is condemned by all standards, and lessons must be learned from April 13th.' He noted that 'we are engaging in international contacts regarding the file of displaced persons, and the fundamental solution is to consider most areas in Syria safe for the deportation of Syrians who came to Lebanon under the title of refugees.'
Meanwhile, the Grand Mufti of the Lebanese Republic, Sheikh Abdul Latif Daryan, stated that 'our confrontation will be through our unity, solidarity, and cooperation, hand in hand, Muslims and Christians, without discrimination or differentiation, but equality, cooperation, and love for the sake of Lebanon, the common living that all Lebanese aspire to, as well as our Arab brothers and friends who offer us assistance to save our country. We must learn from the lessons of sectarian wars from the experiences our country went through on April 13th.'
Regionally, on the 190th day of the war on Gaza, the Israeli army continued its shelling of central Gaza locations. Meanwhile, settlers attacked Palestinians in the West Bank after the body of a settler killed in an attack was found, according to the army, while at least 16 Palestinians were injured during the confrontations.
Hamas has announced its readiness to engage in a serious and genuine prisoner exchange deal between the parties.

Before heading to the United States amidst military alert and mobilization in the Middle East between Israel and Iran, Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani affirmed that his upcoming meeting with the U.S. president would discuss the importance of calm, stopping the war, and preventing the escalation of the conflict in the region.
Internationally, while Israel awaits a possible Iranian response to the bombing of the Iranian consulate in Damascus, U.S. officials have seen indications that Iran may be prepared to attack Israel with missile strikes and drones.
