كتب النائب راجي السعد عبر حسابه على “أكس”: “شكراً للرئيس دونالد ترامب لأنه يثبت بالأفعال مدى محبته للبنان من خلال التوقيع على قرار تاريخي لإعادة فتح الرحلات الجوية المباشرة بين لبنان والولايات المتحدة بناء على سعي فخامة الرئيس جوزاف عون. نطمح الى مزيد من تمتين العلاقات بين بيروت وواشنطن والى تسهيل علاقات اللبنانيين المغتربين بوطنهم الأم، وننتظر بفارغ الصبر انطلاق الرحلة الأولى مجدداً بين بيروت والمدن الأميركية”.

Thank you to President Donald Trump for proving through actions the extent of his love for Lebanon by signing a historic decision to reopen direct flights between Lebanon and the United States, following the efforts of His Excellency President Joseph Aoun. We aspire to further strengthen relations between Beirut and Washington and to facilitate ties between Lebanese expatriates and their homeland. We eagerly await the resumption of the first flight between Beirut and American cities.
