وسبق أن أُنشِئ عدد من الدوائر المتخصصة لتتولى نظر مثل هذه المنازعات، ودُرِّب القضاة وأعوانهم تدريبًا تخصصيًّا يتوافق مع نوعية وطبيعة تلك القضايا؛ لتحقيق الجودة الموضوعية والدقة في المخرجات القضائية المتعلقة بهذه المنازعات.

يذكر أنه في يناير 2023 انتقلت اختصاصات الهيئة الصحية من وزارة الصحة إلى القضاء العام، ما أسهم في سرعة البت في قضايا الأخطاء الطبية.
