Alwakaaia news: Continuing their long-standing partnership, Zain Cash has announced the expansion of its collaboration with Mastercard to drive digital payments in Jordan by providing advanced digital financial services designed to meet the evolving needs of individuals and businesses anytime, anywhere, simplifying daily transactions and elevating the overall digital experience.
Under this agreement, Zain Cash will adopt and implement various services and solutions, including electronic payment services through the Mastercard Payment Gateway, to deliver innovative payment solutions for its diverse customer base across individuals, SMEs, and large enterprises. The partnership will also cover enhanced digital money transfer services, locally and internationally, providing customers with faster, more secure, and reliable transactions, enabling them to make payments and send money to over 180 countries worldwide, all seamlessly accessible through their Zain Cash wallets.
This collaboration further supports Zain Cash’s commitment to expand and continuously develop its portfolio of digital financial services, ensuring customers have access to products that advance financial inclusion and promote the efficient and easy management of their finances.
The partnership will also extend to growing Zain Cash’s prepaid and credit card offerings powered by Mastercard. As part of this effort, Mastercard will support Zain Cash in establishing an Innovation Hub in Jordan, dedicated to creating and developing cutting-edge payment solutions that will be made available to all Zain Cash customers and users.

Zain Cash’s credit cards, offered in three tiers (Classic, Platinum, and World), are Sharia-compliant and come with no interest or fees, providing greater benefits and comprehensive financing solutions to users, empowering them to manage their money more effectively. Launched in partnership with Mastercard, these cards offer credit limits starting from JOD 100 up to JOD 5,000, with no salary transfer requirement or issuance fees.
Through its extensive digital financial services, Zain Cash enables its wallet users to complete a range of transactions, including cash withdrawals and deposits, payments at points of sale such as shops and restaurants, and online shopping locally and globally using their Zain Cash Mastercard, which is instantly provided when opening a wallet. Since its launch in 2011, Zain Cash has become a key player in Jordan’s prepaid cards market and remains the largest issuer of Mastercard cards in the Kingdom.
