Alwaakaai new: Zain Cash proudly sponsored the Olympic Day celebration held in Jerash governorate, as the Platinum Sponsor, in collaboration with Jordan Olympic Committee, the official umbrella for sports in Jordan.

This annual event commemorates the founding of the International Olympic Committee in 1894, which marked the beginning of the modern Olympic Games. The celebration kicked off from the historic Columns Street in the ancient city of Jerash, where the Olympic torch was ceremoniously lit by national taekwondo athletes Zaid Mustafa and Juliana Al-Sadeq. The event showcased several sports disciplines and witnessed the participation of renowned Jordanian athletes in a festive atmosphere that embodied the Olympic spirit and the role of sports in enhancing communities.
Coinciding with Olympic Day, the International Olympic Committee launched the Arabic version of its global campaign, 'Yalla Netharak” (Let’s Move). This initiative aims to encourage individuals to adopt a more active lifestyle, emphasizing the positive effects of physical activity on both physical and mental health, and strengthening the role of sports in building more vibrant and cohesive communities.
