The festival was inaugurated yesterday evening at the North Theatre in the ancient city of Jerash by Prime Minister Dr. Jaafar Hassan, deputizing for His Majesty King Abdullah II.

Held under the theme 'A Legacy That Endures... Generations Unite,” this year’s festival celebrates four decades of cultural and artistic creativity. Its extensive programme features more than 212 cultural, artistic, and literary events, with the participation of leading Jordanian, Arab, and international artists and creators.

The programme also includes heritage performances, theatrical productions, poetry evenings, and family activities, reflecting the festival’s well-established position on the Arab cultural festival calendar.
