بريطانيا تعترف رسميا بدولة فلسطين

أعلن رئيس الوزراء البريطاني، كير ستارمر، اليوم الأحد، أن بلاده تعترف رسميا بدولة فلسطين.

وقال ستارمر في كلمة مصو رة نشرت على منصة إكس 'اليوم، لإحياء الأمل بالسلام للفلسطينيين والإسرائيليين، وحل الدولتين، تعلن المملكة المتحدة رسميا الاعتراف بدولة فلسطين'.

وكان رئيس الوزراء البريطاني قد صرح، في يوليوز الماضي، بأن حكومته ستتخذ هذا القرار ما لم تف إسرائيل بجملة من الشروط. ودعا الحكومة الإسرائيلية إلى اتخاذ إجراءات ملموسة لإنهاء 'الوضع المأساوي في غزة'، وقبول وقف إطلاق النار، والانخراط في مسار سلام دائم، والسماح للأمم المتحدة باستئناف المساعدات الإنسانية، وعدم ضم الضفة الغربية.

وقال ستارمر، في تصريح مصور، ' في مواجهة الرعب المتنامي في الشرق الأوسط، نعمل على الحفاظ على إمكانية تحقيق السلام وحل الدولتين، وهذا يعني وجود إسرائيل آمنة ومطمئنة إلى جانب دولة فلسطينية'.

وأعرب عن أسفه قائلا: 'في الوقت الحالي، ليس لدينا أي منهما'.

ويأتي القرار البريطاني عشية انعقاد أشغال الجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة في نيويورك، التي ينتظر أن تهيمن عليها القضية الفلسطينية.
