زين واتحاد الرياضات الإلكترونية يطلقان بطولة الرياضات الإلكترونية على مستوى الجامعات في المملكة

انطلاقاً من دورها الفاعل بالمساهمة بتطوير ودعم قِطاع الرياضات الإلكترونية في المملكة وترسيخ مكانة الأردن على خارطة الرياضات الإلكترونية إقليمياً؛ أعلنت شركة زين الأردن وعبر مركزها للرياضات الإلكترونية Zain eSports Jo وبالتعاون مع الاتحاد الأردني للرياضات الإلكترونية، عن إطلاق بطولة للرياضات الإلكترونية على مستوى الجامعات في الأردن. وتندرج هذه البطولة –التي انطلقت فعالياتها في 16 تشرين الثاني– ضمن التزام شركة زين الأردن بدعم المواهب الناشئة وتعزيز حضور الرياضات الإلكترونية في المملكة عبر تمكين هواة ومحترفي الألعاب والرياضات الإلكترونية والطلبة الموهوبين من اكتشاف قدراتهم وصقل مهاراتهم وفق معايير احترافية عالمية للمساهمة في إعداد جيل من اللاعبين القادرين على المنافسة وتمثيل المملكة في البطولات الإقليمية والدولية، وبما يسهم في تعزيز مكانة الأردن على خارطة الرياضات الإلكترونية العالمية. وتستهدف البطولة طلبة 10 جامعات حكومية وخاصة، تشمل الجامعة الأردنية وجامعة الحُسين التقنية وجامعة البترا وجامعة الأميرة سمية للتكنولوجيا وجامعة عمّان الأهلية والجامعة الألمانية الأردنية وجامعة العلوم والتكنولوجيا الأردنية والجامعة الهاشمية وجامعة الشرق الأوسط وجامعة العلوم التطبيقية وتعتمد البطولة لعبة EA FC26ضمن فئتي الذكور والإناث وفق برنامج زمني بدأ بفترة التسجيل خلال شهر تشرين الأول، يتبعها تنظيم التصفيات الجامعية خلال الفترة من 27 تشرين الأول حتى 2 تشرين الثاني، ثم التصفيات النهائية من16 ولغاية 27 تشرين الثاني، وصولاً إلى النهائيات التي ستُعقد في 28 تشرين الثاني الجاري في قبة الألعاب الإلكترونية)(The ARC) بمجمع الملك الحسين للأعمال. ووصل عدد الطلبة المشاركين في البطولة من كافة الجامعات إلى 1200 لاعباً ولاعبة، حيث سيتأهل في نهاية البطولة لاعب واحد ولاعبة واحدة من كل جامعة إلى النهائيات الوطنية، فيما ستُقام التصفيات الجامعية بنظام الإقصاء الفردي (Best of 1) وستُقام الأدوار من الدور الربع النهائي وحتى النهائي بنظام . The championship- which kicked off on November 16 – reflects Zain Jordan’s commitment to empowering emerging talents and elevating the esports landscape in Jordan. It provides gaming enthusiasts, professional players, and talented university students with an opportunity to discover their abilities and refine their skills in line with global professional standards, helping prepare a new generation of players capable of competing and representing Jordan in regional and international tournaments. This initiative also supports Jordan’s growing presence on the global esports’ scene. The championship targets students from 10 public and private universities, including: University of Jordan, Al Hussein Technical University, University of Petra, Princess Sumaya University for Technology, Al Ahliyah Amman University, the German Jordanian University, Jordan University of Science and Technology, the Hashemite University, Middle East University, and Applied Science University.

The tournament features (EA FC 26) in both male and female categories, following a timeline that began with the registration period in October, followed by the university-level qualifiers held from October 27 to November 2, and the final qualifiers scheduled from November 16 to 27. The championship concludes with the grand finals on November 28 at The ARC at King Hussein Business Park. This year’s tournament has seen remarkable participation, with 1,200 students from all universities. One male and one female player from each university will advance to the national finals. University qualifiers are being held using a single-elimination (Best of 1) format, while matches from the quarterfinal stage onward will follow a Best of 3 system.
