تجديد اتفاقية الشراكة بين أيلة والاتحاد الأردني للجولف

وكالة الناس -تجسيداً لرؤيتها الطموحة في دعم قطاع الشباب والرياضة، أعلنت شركة واحة أيلة للتطوير اليوم عن تجديد شراكتها الاستراتيجية مع الاتحاد الأردني للجولف لعام آخر.

ويبني الجانبان على سنوات من التعاون المثمر في دعم رياضة الجولف وأنشطتها المحلية والخارجية وتوفير المنشآت الرياضية والبنية التحتية ومساندة مشاركات الفرق الأردنية والمنتخب في الداخل والخارج.

ويمهد التعاون بين أيلة واتحاد الجولف لتنفيذ برامج طموحة ومشتركة في رياضة الجولف ضمن هدف الجانبين في تعزيز موقع الأردن كمحطة رئيسية لهذه الرياضة على مستوى المنطقة والعالم وبناء فرق للمنافسة في البطولات الكبرى وتعريف فئات جديدة من المجتمع على هذه الرياضة خاصة في فئات الناشئين والسيدات والوصول بها الى مستويات احترافية.

وبهذه المناسبة، قال المدير التنفيذي لشركة واحة أيلة للتطوير المهندس سهل دودين: "إنه لمن دواعي سرورنا تجديد اتفاقية الشراكة مع الاتحاد الأردني للجولف والاستمرار بتقديم دعمنا للحركة الرياضية وأنشطة الاتحاد المختلفة والمنتخب الوطني للجولف واتاحة مسارات تدريب وتطوير المهارات لفئة الشباب ورواد الجولف".

وأضاف المهندس دودين: "تعتبر الرياضة وخاصة الجولف ركيزة أساسية في تحقيق رؤية أيلة الشمولية، إذ تلتزم بدعم القطاع الشبابي، وسخرت في هذا الجانب إمكانتها لبناء نادي أيلة للجولف الحاصل على جوائز عالمية مرموقة لنموذجه المميز في التنمية الرياضية المستدامة. ونواصل القيام بواجبتنا المجتمعية في تطوير هذه الرياضة ومساندة جهود الاتحاد والمنتخب الوطني واللجنة الأولمبية ورفد هذا القطاع باحتياجاته خاصة في تأهيل الرياضيين وبناء قاعدة تنظيمية وفنية وتحكيمية وتدريبية متينة".

وعبّر المهندس دودين عن أمله في آفاق أرحب لرياضة الجولف في العقبة بما يدعم الترويج لمنطقة العقبة الاقتصادية الخاصة كوجهة استثنائية للسياحة والرياضة والترفيه.

من جانبه ثمّن رئيس الاتحاد الأردني للجولف، السيد ناصر الشوملي، جهود شركة واحة أيلة للتطوير في سبيل تطوير رياضة الجولف الأردنية، إذ تعد هذه الشراكة بمثابة ركن الزاوية في تنفيذ برامج مشتركة وتأهيل وتطوير جيل واعد من اللاعبين في كل الفئات وبناء المنتخبات الوطنية القادرة على المنافسة واتاحة إمكانات التدريب والتأهيل والمشاركة والاحتكاك المحلي والخارجي لها.

واستعرض الشوملي النجاحات المتحققة لرياضة الجولف عبر هذه الشراكة مع أيلة وآخرها كان تطوير الدوري الأردني للجولف لعام 2025 والذي يتيح لنا النهوض بإمكانات اللاعبين وتوسيع قاعدة المشاركة، فضلاً عن تحسين البنية التحتية للمنشآت، وتأهيل المدربين والحكام في الأردن واستضافة الأحداث والبطولات الدولية مثل بطولة الأردن المفتوحة ذات التصنيف العالمي.

تجديد اتفاقية الشراكة بين أيلة والاتحاد لسنة جديدة يفتح مجالات التعاون بين الجانبين لتعريف مختلف فئات المجتمع برياضة الجولف وتشجيعهم على ممارستها خاصة الناشئين والسيدات وتطوير لعبة الجولف الأردنية والبناء على النجاحات السابقة في هذا المجال. وتحقيق هدف مشترك يتمثل في ترسيخ مكانة الأردن محطة رئيسية في رياضة الجولف على أجندة الأحداث العالمية، وهو ما يدعم الترويج السياحي لمنطقة العقبة الاقتصادية الخاصة.

ويعتبر نادي أيلة للجولف حجر الزاوية في النهوض برياضة الجولف الأردني باعتباره أول ملعب للبطولات في الأردن يحتوي على 18 حفرة وأكاديمية تدريبية تحتوي على 9 حفر حائز على جوائز عالمية من تصميم المصمم العالمي الشهير جريج نورمان، ويمتد هذا الملعب على 800 ألف متر مربع من المسطحات الخضراء مع أكاديمية تقدم خدمات خاصة من الدرجة الأولى والتعليم الجماعي، وخدمات التدريب يوفرها مدربين معتمدين من رابطة لاعبي الجولف المحترفين.

وحصل نادي أيلة للجولف مؤخراً على 4 جوائز عالمية مرموقة في قطاع الاستدامة من جوائز "sustainable luxury awards 2024" وحلّ في موقع متقدم كأحد أكثر ملاعب الجولف الرائدة في مجال تناغم جهود التنمية مع الحفاظ على الموارد البيئية وشملت جائزة أكثر ملاعب الجولف من 18 حفرة استدامة على مستوى المنطقة، وجائزة أكثر ملاعب الجولف الصحراوية استدامة على مستوى العالم، وجائزة أكثر ملاعب الجولف الجبلية استدامة على المستوى المحلي وجائزة أكثر ملاعب بطولات الجولف استدامة على مستوى منطقة الشرق الأوسط.

ويلعب الاتحاد الأردني للجولف دوراً محورياً في تطوير هذه الرياضة على المستويات المحلية والإقليمية والدولية، حيث يواصل العمل وفق رؤية استراتيجية تهدف إلى وضع الأردن على خارطة الجولف العالمية. ويحرص الاتحاد على تنفيذ برامج تأهيل وتدريب للاعبين والحكام والمدربين، وتنظيم البطولات المحلية واستضافة الفعاليات الدولية، إلى جانب توسيع قاعدة المهتمين بممارسة الجولف، لا سيما بين فئتي الناشئين والسيدات، مما يسهم في تعزيز مكانة الأردن كوجهة واعدة لرياضة الجولف وسياحة البطولات الرياضية.

Jordan Golf Federation and Ayla Renews Strategic Partnership

In line with its ambitious vision to support youth and sports, Ayla Oasis Development Company has announced the renewal of its strategic partnership with the Jordan Golf Federation for another year.

This renewed collaboration builds on years of fruitful cooperation aimed at advancing the game of golf locally and internationally. It encompasses joint efforts in enhancing golf infrastructure, supporting national teams’ participation in local and international tournaments, and strengthening the sport’s presence across the Kingdom.

Together, Ayla and the Jordan Golf Federation will continue to implement bold programs that position Jordan as a key destination for golf in the region and beyond. These initiatives aim to develop competitive national teams, introduce new segments of society—especially youth and women—to the game, and elevate golf in Jordan to professional standards.

Commenting on the occasion, Ayla’s managing director, Eng. Sahl Dudin, said: “We are proud to renew our partnership with the Jordan Golf Federation and reaffirm our commitment to supporting sports and national athletic programs. Our collaboration continues to provide training paths and skill development opportunities for youth and aspiring golf talents”.

He added: “Sports—especially golf—are integral to Ayla’s inclusive vision. We’ve invested in building Ayla Golf Club, an award-winning facility recognized globally for its model of sustainable sports development. Our commitment remains strong in empowering this sport and supporting the efforts of the Federation, the national team, and the Olympic Committee by supplying the sector with the resources it needs—particularly in preparing athletes and developing a solid regulatory, technical, refereeing, and coaching framework.”

Eng. Dudin also expressed hope for a broader horizon for golf in Aqaba, reinforcing the city’s positioning as a premier destination for tourism, sports, and leisure within the Aqaba Special Economic Zone.

From his side, Mr. Nasser Al Shomali, President of the Jordan Golf Federation, praised Ayla Oasis for its continued efforts in advancing golf in Jordan. He emphasized that this partnership represents a cornerstone in the implementation of joint programs aimed at nurturing a new generation of golfers across all categories and building national teams capable of competing on the international stage, with full access to training, qualification, and exposure to both local and global experiences.

Al Shomali also highlighted the tangible achievements made through this partnership, most recently the development of the 2025 Jordan Golf League. This league not only enhances players’ capabilities and expands participation but also improves infrastructure, builds coaching and refereeing capacities, and supports the hosting of globally ranked tournaments—such as the Jordan Open.

The renewed agreement paves the way for deeper collaboration in popularizing the sport among broader audiences, especially youth and women, and in building on past successes to further elevate the game. Ultimately, both parties are aligned in their goal to solidify Jordan’s standing as a central destination on the global golf calendar—an ambition that directly contributes to promoting the Aqaba Special Economic Zone as a unique hub for sports tourism.

At the heart of this progress is the Ayla Golf Club, the first 18-hole championship golf course in Jordan. Designed by the world-renowned Greg Norman, the course features expansive green landscapes covering 800,000 square meters, alongside a 9-hole academy course. The club offers first-class services, group education, and training by PGA-certified professionals.

Recently, Ayla Golf Club was honored with four prestigious accolades at the Sustainable Luxury Awards 2024, cementing its status as a global leader in sustainable golf development. The club was recognized as the Most Sustainable 18-Hole Golf Course in the Region, the Most Sustainable Desert Golf Course Worldwide, the Most Sustainable Mountain Golf Course Locally, and the Most Sustainable Championship Golf Course in the Middle East.

The Jordan Golf Federation continues to play a pivotal role in developing the sport at the local, regional, and international levels.
